This policy explains what information Ascent collects when you use getascent.co, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Plain English, no surprises. Ascent is a B2B go-to-market agency. We do not sell products on this site and we do not run consumer accounts. Most people are here to read about the work and book a call.
Who we are
Ascent ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time at jamil@getascent.co. For anything privacy related, that is the address to use.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, company, email address and whatever you write in your message.
- Booking details. If you book a call, our scheduling provider (Cal.com) collects your name, email and meeting time so the call can happen.
- Basic usage data. Like most websites, our host and any analytics we run may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site. This is aggregate and is used to understand traffic, not to identify you personally.
Why we collect it
Only for the obvious reasons: to reply to your enquiry, to schedule and run a call, to keep the site working and secure, and to understand which content is useful so we can make the site better. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site, and your data is only handled by them to provide their service to us: our hosting provider (Vercel), our scheduling provider (Cal.com), our email provider, and, if enabled, an analytics provider. Each has its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
The site itself does not need cookies to work. If we turn on analytics, it may set cookies to measure visits. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time without breaking the site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Aggregate usage data may be kept longer in anonymised form.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the UK, EU or a region with similar rules, those rights apply to you. Email jamil@getascent.co and we will sort it out.
International transfers
We operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We only work with providers that handle data responsibly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date below. Continued use of the site means you are fine with the current version.
